12Comics - Flash Movies 

An Learning Support Program Based in New Jersey

Client's Needs:

I was impressed with the quality of the work I saw on some of the other comic type sites I was browsing online. I was referred to PapasPages by the owners of those sites. We quickly established a great working relationship as I gave him my ideas for a site he worked with us to keep it as low cost but high quality. I can't wait to start my next project with them.

Mark

What We Created:

After having completed 12 Comic's main Flash site, we were contacted by Mark again with some new ideas for his growing business. He wanted to do a Flash movie or introduction for some of his classes. We worked with him to select templates and updated the Flash with new functionality, the students characters and new text and animation. To date we have done 4 separate Flash Movies for 12 Comic's classes.

Technical Details:

Graphics: Each classes characters are modified to better embed into the Flash movies, we also update and modify the 12 Comic logo to better suit the Flash code.
Information: The template the client provided was extensively modified to allow addition of images based on their business, allow for descriptions of their business and class structure and links to external documentation.
Advanced Features: The comic characters are graphically modified to be embedded into the Flash movie so they look like a part of it, not just an add-on.

What We Created:

We were contacted by Mark from 12comics as a referral from one of our other sites. Mark runs a learning support program for children using comic books as a medium for education. He wanted a new front end to his website that was like a comic book. He found a template online that we modified to meet his needs. Using an existing template helped us keep the cost down and provide a quick turn around for Mark.

Technical Details:

Graphics: Although the client provided a template we had to modify all the information inside with images from the clients classrooms and his students comics.
Information: The template the client provided was extensively modified to allow addition of images based on their business, allow for descriptions of their business and class structure and links to external documentation.
Advanced Features: The entire front end of the site was build in flash. Custom php scripting was needed to allow visitors to the website to send and post emails and upload images to the site as well.

A Kung-Fu School in Brandon, Fl

Client's Needs:

As my school grew, I wanted a website with a more professional appearance to draw in new students. I needed an appealing site, one that would get people interested and wanting to learn more. PapasPages delivered exactly that, a beautiful site, designed to peek the interest of visitors and provide an easy method to find out information.

What We Created:

This project was exciting from the beginning. It was a creative balance between displaying the hard discipline involved in Kung-Fu and the serenity and balance of Tai-Chi. The client wanted something that exemplified a quiet strength, something strong and balanced, with the ability to update a picture gallery, sign up people for information and post news letters.

Technical Details:

Graphics: The custom template for this was a balance of strength and serenity, to portray both the physical aspects and mental discipline of the Kung-Fu school. Additionally, custom logos were created mixed with an eastern feel showing the schools lineage to China.
Information: Information on the Kung-Fu and Tai Chi systems was crucial for this site, including lineage, history, information about classes and the instructor. Additionally there was needs for scheduling, newsletters, and a picture gallery.
Advanced Features: A picture gallery that was easy to use was implemented to show the different styles and aspects of the school. A front end form for signing up for information and newsletters was developed, as well as a historical newsletter archive.


ScienceBasedFitness 

A personal training business based in Tampa, Fl

Client's Needs:

Having used Papaspages in the past, I immediately contacted them when I started a new facet of my business. I need a new fitness site, designed to cater to Police, Fire and Military employees. PapasPages came through again, giving me a strong, clean site, with streaming video and audio.

Amanda

What We Created:

Amanda came back to us when she started a new fitness business for Police and Fire departments. She wanted similar colors to her existing site, but with a more serious, business like feel. We used the same orange and blue colors from her other site, mixed with grays and a white background to create a clean, business look. Additionally, she needed streaming audio and video both embedded in the page and in pop out windows.

Technical Details:

Graphics: The look for this site pulls on the same colors of the clients other site, but uses a white background mixed with some grey for a cleaner more professional feel.
Information: The client needed the ability to post videos and body composition for various clients, in conjunction with information about the technology she uses and services provided. We build a front end that focused on successful clients, with video and audio clips in an easy to read format.
Advanced Features: The client needed the ability to upload streaming audio and video in flash, quicktime and avi formats, we built a system that can take the uploaded file and play in an appropriate pop up player, based on the file format.


Mountain Laurel Estates 

A Housing Community in North Carolina

Client's Needs:

As this project got off the ground, I needed website that would appeal to my customers. Something that embodied the high class of the community, the beauty of the North Carolina mountain side and the simplicity that would make my customers feel comfortable. PapasPages delivered the perfect look and feel we were trying to portray.

Tom

What We Created:

When Tom contacted us for a website to represent the new community he was developing, we quickly understood where he was headed. He wanted a clean looking website that portrayed class, beauty and simplicity. He also needed the ability to post documents online so his clients could download them.

Technical Details:

Graphics: A custom template was built using earth tones and pulling on the images of mountain laurels and the North Carolina country side. The browns and grays give a soft, inviting look.
Information: The site displays information about the developments location, pricing, features, pictures, available home sites, area attractions and a large photo gallery.
Advanced Features: The largest feature on this site is a photo gallery that features thumbnails of the pictures and a pop-up slide show. Additionally, the custom contact form allows customers to contact the developer through the site.


Alien Apex Resort

Client's Needs:

I needed a web site to be built quickly that would be a front end for a big upcoming project. I wanted the site to include a contact form, investor login, latest news and basic information. PapasPages delivered on my needs in a record amount of time, and the product was of great quality.

What We Created:

When this project came to us, we knew there was a short time to complete the project. We wanted to create a science fiction, alien abduction theme and decided on a dark color scheme that would portray the eerie feeling the owner wanted without being overpowering. Additionally, the client wanted a simple site with easy navigation and easy to use contact and news sections. We delivered these requirements using a simple template, a few graphics and basic links across the top.

Technical Details:

Graphics: A custom designed template that was built using a 'sci-fi' theme with alien logos, gray, black and green colors. Additionally, a logo with a saucer and the letters AA was designed for the client.
Information: The information requirements were accomplished through a few pages including: latest news posting, a welcome page, about the park, a contact form and an online invesotor database.
Advanced Features: This site uses custom scripting to allows the client to post and edit news updates on her own. An online picture investor section allows the client to update documents and post latest updates for investors, who can use a secure login to see the latest on the park. The contact form keeps the clients e-mail address private but allows outside parties to contact them easily.


Arm Band Girl

Client's Needs:

I wanted a site that would have a great energy to it, something that would convey to my clients a positive feeling and provide them with instant motivation. I wanted a website that included lots of information about the equipment I use, the science, customer testimonials and latest news. Papas Pages delivered exactly what I wanted. My clients love my new site and I get hits from new clients from the web. Perfect!

What We Created:

Amanda wanted the ArmBandGirl website to convey a positive feeling so customers would feel the energy when they first visited the site. The graphic template was designed with orange and blue tones mixed with pictures of the technology to create a bright sentiment while keeping the science and technology in the forefront. ArmBandGirl also needed several pages for information ranging for technical descriptions of services and technology to customer testimonials and progress, and what we developed allowed her to obtain useful client information before their first meeting.

Technical Details:

Graphics: A custom designed template with a bright, motivating feel while focusing on technology.
Information: Several informational pages were build to house information on technology, services, testimonials, progress and business information.
Advanced Scripting: A custom contact form was built and geared to ask questions specifically needed for the clients business. Additionally, a latest news page was built with an interface where the client can add new or modify existing entires. Finally, a progress page was designed that allowed ArmBandGirl to add and update progress of her cusotmers and display the updates live.

A personal website for a couple based in Tampa, Fl

Client's Needs:

As I prepared for my wedding, I wanted to create a website for family and friends to keep track of new developments. I wanted something fun and soft, and also easy for everyone to use. PapasPages designed the perfect look and it was simple enough for everyone, even my mother who hardly uses the web!

What We Created:

When Airia came to us for a unique personal site to be built before her wedding, we came up with a soft template with easy to see and use menu items along the top that clearly state what you will find. This site incorporated an online picture gallery and client updatable news page where Airia can go and post new news items.

Technical Details:

Graphics: A custom designed template that was softer to the eye using flowers, blue, yellow and purple colors.
Information: The information requirements were accomplished through a few pages including: information about the couple getting married, a welcome page, latest news, a contact form and an online picture database.
Advanced Features: This site uses custom scripting to allow Airia to post and edit news updates on her own. An online picture gallery was added, with a matching look to the site. The gallery is administered by Airia through online forms where she can upload, delete or modify her picture albums. Finally, a contact form was built that e-mails Airia and her husband but keeps the e-mail address hidden off any of the pages to protect their privacy.
